I've been looking for a good moisturizer for...well, forever I feel like. As usual, most products that work on everyone else's hair do not work for me. I've used grease, oils, KeraCare, VitaPointe, Razac, ORS, and many other products to moisturize, but I haven't fell in love with any yet. And, I'm not spending an arm and a leg on a product that doesn't work. I really need to find some samples..
Anyway, the other day, I saw this in the beauty supply store. The ingredients looked pretty good (no mineral oil), and it didn't seem like a huge risk for $2.99. I even tried a little in the store and walked around a bit to see if my hair absorbed it. I thought it was pretty light and my hair felt moisturized, so I bought it.
So far, I like it. It's only been 3 days, but my hair looks and feels silkier. I really only put a small amount on my ends. I still seal my ends with coconut oil, although I don't know if I need to.
What's on the bottle:

Hi Tiffanita! Did you notice the Parafinum Liquidum in the ingredients of this product. It is listed after Polyquaternium 32. I didn't know what that was and when I googled it, it is mineral oil. So, I stopped using this. Just an FYI
I've used this product before and it wasn't a pleasent experience. It made my hair feel dry for some reason. Many ladies like it, but it didn't work for me :(
No, I didn't know that Parafinum Liquidum is mineral oil! I may have to re-consider this. It's not wonderful, but it has been keeping my ends moisturized.
Yeah it was working for me as well but the mineral oil scared me and the fact that they named it something else made me thing they were trying to hide it. I have been trying the silk elements line. It's called silk elements MegaSilk Leave-in Hair Moisturizing Creme. I think I like it but I want to give it more time. I got it from Sally's for about $5. The ingredients are: Water )aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Cyclomethicone, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, OleaEuropea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cetyl Esters, Arachis Hypogenated Castor oil, Polyacrylamid, c13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, DMDM Hydantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Propylparaben, Methylparben, Frangrance, Yellow 5 and Yellow 6.
well i know that i was looking on another hair care site because i wanted to start a hair journey and start taking care of my hair better so i have been researching. she was saying if you do get a product with mineral oil in it just use it for your ends only don't use it on the scalp other wise it will make your scalp very dry and flaky.HOPE I HELPED :) I also use bb moisturizer and olive oil moisturizer.
This product significantly dries my scalp out. I generally have frizzy hair so this helped keep my hair from frizzing but dried my hair out and left my scalp full of dandruff. After reading all the comments maybe I'll just use the rest of the product for my ends, but I do not recommend as a moisturizer AT all.
I love it it keeps my hair beautiful N soft n manageable
