My Neck, My Back

I'm really happy (and grateful) that my hair has grown to my shoulders, but it's taking some time to get used to it. Yesterday it got caught on my seat belt, and today it got caught in my bag strap. It's also strange feeling it on my shoulders and back. Sometimes it give me the chills! Mind you, I am NOT complaining- I just have to get used to it!

On another note, I've been so good at not buying any products. I think the only new product I've bought in 2009 is the Silicon Mix. I really want to try a cleanser from Hair One, but I'm going to wait until my Creme of Nature shampoo runs out. It's discontinued, so I'll need something anyway. I really need to buy some hair accessories, like headbands and clips and stuff. I just haven't seen any I like lately. It feels so good not being a product junkie anymore!

Congrats on your growth! I know the feeling!! When my hair was near half way between my shoulders and armpits I felt SO accomplished.

AND BIG UPS for retiring from being a product junkie! Lol. Hair loves consistency and your pockets will love it even more -wink.

Wishing you the best on your journey!

Your hair is looking healthy! I would recommend the Hair One conditioning cleanser to anyone. It has worked wonders on improving the condition of my hair. HHG!

Your hair looks great! But you know, Creme of Nature has not been discontinued, it's look has just changed. You can find all of the same products, but they look different because their packaging has changed. Let me know if you need help finding a product. laura@mstrategiesinc.com

CON has discontinued their OLD shampoo formulation. The new ones are garbage and a lot of people, who were long time users, would agree. If you are looking for a good conditioning shampoo that works better than CON, try Keracare. I have ALMOST eliminated my PJism. I am always happy when I have found staples, but I think that being a PJ has sort of helped me find even better products for my hair. I just need to learn how to use something up first before buying another product. I am addicted to conditioners, so I have a TON of them.

Soon your hair will be brushing your brastrap. Overcoming the product junky sickness is a sign that you've solidified your routine and your hair is responding to what you're doing.
Congratulations on your progress.

I know how you feel about your hair. When my hair is blow dried, it hangs down to my waist. It is an odd feeling when I lay back on it; if I don't sit forward far enough, it gets caught between me and the back of the chair. I have to move it out of the way. WheneverI carry anything on my shoulders like a a should bag, etc. to make sure it doesn't get caught. I am sixty-one years old and this is the first time in years I have ever let my hair grow this long. One of these days I will post a picture of it when it has been blown dry. Normally, I just let it curl up which makes it look much shorter.
